Baha’i Quotation I’m trying to memorize…

The following quotation is from the Baha’i Writings…it is one of my favorites…

“Even as the clouds let us shed down tears, and as the lightning flashes let us laugh at our coursings through east and west. By day, by night, let us think but of spreading the sweet savours of God. Let us not keep on forever with our fancies and illusions, with our analysing and interpreting and circulating of complex dubieties. Let us put aside all thoughts of self; let us close our eyes to all on earth, let us neither make known our sufferings nor complain of our wrongs. Rather let us become oblivious of our own selves, and drinking down the wine of heavenly grace, let us cry out our joy, and lose ourselves in the beauty of the All-Glorious.”

Selections from the Writings of `Abdu’l-Baha

  3. -oh and you where right about our friend Dr Diabolical. I’ve taken the liberty of firing him without talking to the commitie first, but I think you’ll aprove after seeing what he wanted to charge us. The nerve of some of these mad geniuses!
I have a few sugestions for our replacement, perhaps we want to go with a different kind of super army altogether… I’m confident we can stay on schedual for ruling the world by early 2004 If we move fast on this issue. I’ll call from Helsinki, take care!

  4. Shannon-
The great thing about us taking over the world is that no one understands what we’re talking about half the time anyways, so we can do it in plain sight and no one gets it! Its brilliant, I tell you!

Have fun in Maine…I mean Helsinki. 🙂
