A Calm Storm

Never Too Much

I was too much for many spaces, for too many years.
I find it so interesting that in the last 4.5 years since being fully self-employed, I have never once been too much.
I have never lost a client for voicing my opinions, sharing my knowledge, or calling out situations that concerned me.

I have become a resource, a gatherer of people, an encourager, and a rescuer of events in one of the most stressful careers in the world.
And I became a mother, during a pandemic.
I speak about these things because it would have been so helpful for me to see this example more.
To be encouraged for being me. For being confident, powerful, smart, eager to learn, wanting to change the world for the better. For being a woman who knew what she was doing, even when she was still learning.

I am so grateful for the people who saw my potential, my light, and guided me, supported me, hired me. Thank you.

I am also grateful for those who were roadblocks, because now I am armed with information about how to deal with people who cannot stand the light in others, who are terrified by competence and confidence.

Are you a guiding light, or are you a roadblock?
