I traveled for fun too. And for the life of me, I don&#8217;t know why I didn&#8217;t apply for TSA pre-check earlier. It was only $85 and about 1 hour of my time, including filling out the application online and the office visit. For those of us in the US who travel by plane more than a few times per year, it is something that should just be done.<\/p>\n<p>I have to say, there have been glitches here and there, like in New Orleans last week when we were told that since they didn&#8217;t have enough personnel working, we had to go through the line with the same restrictions, but overall it has saved me an average of 20-30 minutes on each trip.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I traveled for work via an airplane 7 times last year, which means 14 TSA lines.
