This is the Baha’i new year (167 B.E.).\u00c2\u00a0 I am feeling…settled, at peace.\u00c2\u00a0 I seek out peaceful things, spaces, and sometimes people these days.\u00c2\u00a0 Other times, I want to be surrounded by crowds.<\/p>\n

The Naw-Ruz post<\/a> for nineteen days is up: AMAZING photos.\u00c2\u00a0 I am sad that the project is over, but so glad I had the opportunity to participate.<\/p>\n

I spent the day cooking yesterday in preparation for the Naw-Ruz celebration in Chicago.\u00c2\u00a0 I will make a blog post about that soon (with photos).\u00c2\u00a0 I had an amazing dinner at The Sitdown<\/a> (they have a gluten-free menu!!) with some lovely ladies, then went over to the Smart museum<\/a> for the Chicago Baha’i community’s celebration.\u00c2\u00a0 After the program of music and prayers, we wandered around the museum for a bit, then there was food and dancing.\u00c2\u00a0 I think I danced TOO much.\u00c2\u00a0 Exhausted today!<\/p>\n

I attended the devotional (prayer) gathering at my friends’ house today, which was small and joyful event, and we laughed a lot.\u00c2\u00a0 A nice, low-key day.\u00c2\u00a0 I am looking forward to this next (Baha’i) year.<\/p>\n
