{"id":1045,"date":"2007-10-01T17:32:54","date_gmt":"2007-10-01T15:32:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sholeh.calmstorm.net\/blog\/archives\/1045"},"modified":"2007-12-12T08:46:35","modified_gmt":"2007-12-12T06:46:35","slug":"over-halfway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sholeh.calmstorm.net\/blog\/archives\/1045","title":{"rendered":"Over halfway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>September 8th marked the halfway point in my service in Haifa.\u00c2\u00a0 9 months left.<\/p>\n<p>I know that I&#8217;ve changed, that I&#8217;ve stayed the same.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 There are so many beautiful moments, and I wish I could gather every beautiful soul into my hands and carry them with me anywhere I go in the world.\u00c2\u00a0 I wish I could explain everything here, or write it down, but recently words have been failing me.\u00c2\u00a0 Perhaps pictures would suffice.<\/p>\n<p>I am so, so happy here.\u00c2\u00a0 Autumn is slowly creeping around the corner, the pilgrim season starts in a few weeks, the magic of the smell of cold evenings still exists in the world.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The passing of the last <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/info.bahai.org\/article-1-3-3-3.html\">Hand of the Cause of God<\/a> is still too\u00c2\u00a0recent to even understand.\u00c2\u00a0 As far as I can remember, I had the bounty of meeting\u00c2\u00a0four of them (at least the ones I remember meeting).\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 `Al\u00c3\u00ad-Muhammad Varq\u00c3\u00a1, `Al\u00c3\u00ad-Akbar Fur\u00c3\u00batan, Amatu&#8217;l-Bah\u00c3\u00a1 R\u00c3\u00bah\u00c3\u00adyyih <u>Kh<\/u>\u00c3\u00a1num, and\u00c2\u00a0William Sears&#8230;and now they&#8217;re all gone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;The greatest attainment in the world of humanity is nearness to God.
