Office dinosaurs
\nwander around the jungle of cubicles
\ncolorful skin of polo shirts and sweater-vests
\nwalrus-mustaches and flannel
\nvoices modulated from 30 years
\nof telephone-customer-service
\ntheir lumbering gait
\nhalts near my desk
\nwhere the jar of pretzels lies in wait
\nand they methodically chew and philosophize,
\ngathering around the watering-hole (coffee pot)
\nto shake their ponderous heads.
\nWe younger mammals (of a different era)
\njust try to stay out of the way.<\/p>\n
