Or squeeze lemon!)<\/i><br \/>\nHe talked about not having taken a vacation<br \/>\nin over two years.<\/p>\n<p>The train conductor has a red beard and sunglasses<br \/>\nand a large silver earring.<br \/>\nAs he collects tickets, he passes me several times.<br \/>\nHe asks if I am writing him a letter, then says,<br \/>\n<i>&#8220;I never get letters, just angry slurs.&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>So many of these suburbs have little historical sites.<br \/>\n<i>&#8220;Well #2, drilled 1924&#8221;<\/i><br \/>\nEurope and China would laugh at our youth.<br \/>\nI have seen two buildings that look like<br \/>\nlandlocked lighthouses.<\/p>\n<p>The municipal buildings and town halls<br \/>\nall manage to look like funeral homes.<br \/>\n(white columns, red brick, and black iron lightposts)<\/p>\n<p><b>I love my city&#8230;even the extended parts of it.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IM000573.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/sholeh.calmstorm.net\/blog\/archives\/IM000573.JPG\" width=\"274\" height=\"363\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There was a man on the bus who talked on his cell phone to an unseen face explaining how to cook pork chops (just salt, that is what I use.
