It happens every few weeks, or months.\u00c2\u00a0 A reminder of what I left behind.\u00c2\u00a0 It comes with a sudden warm, coastal wind, or a flower that I saw every day, or a friend’s smiling face.\u00c2\u00a0 It sometimes sneaks up, like feet sinking in the sand, and sometimes it is like tripping on uneven rock paths.<\/p>\n

I am home, over 2 years and I am taken back to a place that is burned into my soul and heart.<\/p>\n

Wishing I could dissolve in tears with my face pressed to the carpet, the silence and the smell of roses like a warm embrace…<\/p>\n
