Last night I went salsa dancing for the first time in nearly 3 years.\u00c2\u00a0 I couldn’t believe it has been that long.<\/p>\n
And then I stepped out on the dance floor, and it was painfully obvious that not only was I very rusty, but woefully untutored.\u00c2\u00a0 Thankfully, the majority of the people that I danced with were very good, gave me lots of tips, and were quite patient.\u00c2\u00a0 I learned more last night than I have in years.<\/p>\n
However, one individual was particularly self-involved.\u00c2\u00a0 Sporting a suit and greased-back hair, he thought that he was an exceptional dancer.\u00c2\u00a0 No interest in being a good dance partner, he really just wanted to show off.\u00c2\u00a0 Unfortunately, he got a little enthusiastic, and ended up kicking my leg.\u00c2\u00a0 Very, very painful.<\/p>\n
As I hobbled away, I found my friends, who are regulars on the salsa scene.\u00c2\u00a0 When I told them what had happened, they started laughing.\u00c2\u00a0 Apparently this guy is rather…infamous.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 haha.\u00c2\u00a0 Well, I’ve been initiated, I guess!<\/p>\n
