2 months.\u00c2\u00a0 62 days.\u00c2\u00a0 1,488 hours.\u00c2\u00a0 89,280 minutes.\u00c2\u00a0 <– My time remaining in the Holy Land.\u00c2\u00a0 That is all there is to say about that, for the moment anyway.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m busy working, over 60 hours a week now as things ramp up around here.\u00c2\u00a0 I love it.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

For starters, it has been a bit of a crazy week.\u00c2\u00a0 I heard about 11 engagements in the course of 1 week…11 couples getting married<\/em>.\u00c2\u00a0 It has been pointed out to me that this is probably because I know a lot of people.\u00c2\u00a0 This is true.\u00c2\u00a0 However, it is also because it is spring, people are planning summer weddings, and I am 24 years old…all logically leading to a certain percentage of my friends getting married.\u00c2\u00a0 I am very excited, although I’m only going to a couple of these weddings.<\/p>\n

On to the next thing.\u00c2\u00a0 There are a few blogs\/sites that I want to bring to your attention.\u00c2\u00a0 All of these are on my links page, of course.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Elemental Change<\/a> – a collaborative blog by some Baha’i\u00c2\u00a0friends of mine on a wide variety of topics: entrepreneurship & finance,\u00c2\u00a0design & music, technology & social enterprise, politicking & think tanking.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I am really enjoying it so far, and can’t wait to see more.<\/p>\n

2inspire.us<\/a> – “What the news ought to be.”\u00c2\u00a0 I really love the idea behind this.\u00c2\u00a0 Why is the majority of our news so negative?\u00c2\u00a0 Well, we know why…people are attracted to tragedy.\u00c2\u00a0 But our spirits need upliftment too.\u00c2\u00a0 Check it out.<\/p>\n

Baha’i Perspectives<\/a> – many of you have heard about this site.\u00c2\u00a0 Articles on subjects that affect all of us,\u00c2\u00a0written by\u00c2\u00a0Baha’i friends around the world.<\/p>\n

Artificial Sound & Light <\/a>– my friend Vahid changed it up a little bit with his new blog.\u00c2\u00a0 Totally different from many of the blogs I read.<\/p>\n

The Candy Coating<\/a> – Dangerboy and Orion, two guys with a blog.\u00c2\u00a0 Thoughtful, often funny essays on various topics.\u00c2\u00a0 They are both Baha’is, but it is really a place for people to share their thoughts and talk to each other.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Finally, I had a wonderful evening last night.\u00c2\u00a0 Taco dinner, Persepolis<\/a>, and an impromptu\u00c2\u00a0Sufjan Stevens<\/a> dance party in my friend’s living room\u00c2\u00a0(yes, it is possible to dance to this kind of music).\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 I love that my friends and I can still dance around like when we were little kids…with no judgement or shame.\u00c2\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
