{"id":1066,"date":"2007-12-26T11:48:10","date_gmt":"2007-12-26T09:48:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sholeh.calmstorm.net\/blog\/archives\/1066"},"modified":"2008-02-16T11:09:49","modified_gmt":"2008-02-16T09:09:49","slug":"it-has-been-a-while","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sholeh.calmstorm.net\/blog\/archives\/1066","title":{"rendered":"It has been a while"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The last &#8220;Books&#8221; post was in July&#8230;and I have read a few books since then.  \ud83d\ude42  I am pretty sure that I&#8217;ve forgotten a few.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read:<br \/>\n<\/strong><u>Freakonomics<\/u> by Steven Levitt, Stephen J Dubner<\/p>\n<p><u>Tablets of the Divine Plan<\/u>: revealed by Abdu&#8217;l-Baha to the North American Bahais<\/p>\n<p><u>One People One Planet: The Adventures of a World Citizen<\/u> by Andre Brugiroux<br \/>\n<em>Amazing story of the journey of one man who hitchhiked around the world.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><u>Summon up Remembrance<\/u> and <u>Arches of the Years<\/u> Marzieh Gail<br \/>\n<em>These two books have become some of my favorites&#8230;it is about the first Persian-American Baha&#8217;i family, and gives a glimpse into the life of the early believers, as well as a fascinating perspective on Persian culture.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Still reading:<br \/>\n<\/strong><u>What Is the What<\/u> by Dave Eggers<br \/>\n<em>Shoutout to Bill O. for sending me this book&#8230;It is about the <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lost_Boys_of_Sudan\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Lost Boys of Sudan<\/em><\/a><em>. Incredible book, although sometimes painful to read.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><u>The Great Adventure<\/u> by Florence Mayberry<br \/>\n<em>heartwarming, sweet, and amusing.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><u>Shoghi Effendi: The Range and Power of His Pen<\/u> by Ali Nakhjavani<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The last &#8220;Books&#8221; post was in July&#8230;and I have read a few books since then. \ud83d\ude42 I am pretty sure that I&#8217;ve forgotten a few.
